History- "Way Out West Parents of Multiples, hereafter known as WOWPOM, was founded in 2002 by Jan Bently as the Way Out West Mothers of Multiples Club. The founding members realized that we westerners needed a club of our own. The west valley has boomed in population recently and that means the incidence of multiples has also increased. And so our club was initiated and has been growing rapidly ever since. As we've grown, more fathers have gotten involved. Our name was then changed to the Way Out West Parents of Multiples in 2006."
Communities we serve- "We welcome prospective members from all over the valley but our club meets in the west valley and therefore usually serves parents in the communities of Tolleson, Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Surprise, Sun City, Glendale, and Peoria. Please see our Resources section to find a club near you if we can't meet your needs!"
"Members of our club include mothers and fathers of twins, triplets, quads, or more that are dues paying and active in club functions. You are a prospective member if you are a current mother or father of multiples, are adopting or are stepparents of children born within 6 months of each other, or are expecting multiples. All prospective members have three free months of unlimited access to club functions and a monthly newsletter. If you're expecting, you are a prospective while expecting and then get an additional 3 months trial membership after your babies arrive."
